The work

Four disciplines, held together.

Most consultants own one of these. The value is in the joins — a position that survives contact with a room, an experience that produces a pipeline, a system the team can still run next quarter.

  1. 01

    Strategy

Business and growth strategy that starts from the real constraint, not the brief.

  2. 02

    Brand

Brand architecture, positioning and messaging built so the market can repeat it back.

  3. 03

    Experience

Premium events and brand experiences designed as systems — curated rooms, measured outcomes.

  4. 04

    Intelligence

AI and business intelligence applied as working infrastructure: sharper decisions.

The mark

Three strokes, lifted off a rug.

The KAY monogram was drawn from the Simorgh of Sistan rug — a woven field of deer, lions and stepped diamonds, where a single ascending figure gave up the three diagonals the identity now runs on. They were not redrawn: the mark is rendered as a mask of the original artwork, so the geometry stays exactly as it was cut.

The KAY monogram set over the Simorgh of Sistan rug, a dense geometric weave of animals and stepped diamonds in madder red, ochre and undyed wool

The KAY evolution

From experience to intelligence.

Four ventures, one line of enquiry: how a business becomes something people remember, and then something they return to.

All ventures

On film

Seven films, and the first is a room that did not exist.

They run in the order they happened, and the order now starts a year early: a rendering of an exhibition nobody had entered, the launch night that sold nothing, then the exhibition itself — and after that a camera corner, a palace, a stage, and a courtyard that became a club.

  • Tehran · 2019

    Drawn before it was built

An architecture studio was commissioned before the venue, the guest list or a price. What came back was a rendering of a hall nobody had entered — and the reason an architect had something to present.

    Nobody Buys a First Edition
  • Tehran · January 2020

The launch, with nothing to sell

Two weeks before the first WINDOW edition existed, a room of the building industry sat down in front of a sponsor board for a platform that had never run. Everything on that board was a promise.

    Nobody Buys a First Edition
  • Tehran · February 2020

    Fourteen days later, the doors

The first edition, on the floor at the Ava Center. Every brand inside the same white frame, in the hall the rendering two cards back had walked through a year earlier.

    WINDOW DISPLAY, Tehran
  • Our own offices · 2021

    The camera corner

A guest is asked to record a new-year greeting and cannot get the century right. We kept every ruined take, cut them together, and played the result back to the room that made them.

    Thirty Nights of Nowruz
  • Niavaran, Tehran · October 2022

    A palace, and no pitch

WINDOW GARDEN reached Tehran and was unveiled inside a former royal palace. A hundred of the hundred and twenty invited came, and nothing was sold on the night.

    One Tehran, One Niavaran
  • Mashhad · December 2023

    Three hundred and sixty guests

The longest night of the year, funded in full by six brands and sold to nobody. Each of the six chose personally who filled its share of the room.

In Praise of the Longest Night
  • Mashhad · 2024

The courtyard that became a club

Three minutes of HAYAT in its members' own words. The one film here that is not an evening — it is what happens when the room stops being an event and starts being an address.

    HAYAT

Nothing plays until you ask it to, and starting one stops the last.

Client voices

15 years, in their words.

Unscripted reflections from the brands, clients and collaborators who shaped WINDOW.

  • Read the transcript

The exhibition is fascinating. I had already seen its poster on Instagram, followed it, registered, and used it. I'm generally familiar with the brands that are here, and I've even collaborated with some of them before. I recommend attending the exhibition to all architects.

  • Read the transcript

The exhibition was good. I think the concept of this window was something interesting and new, and I don't think — at least I haven't seen — anyone in Tehran hold such a concept.

  • Read the transcript

In my opinion, the exhibition was good because of the services it offered. One of the issues was the parking situation — for someone who came, the guests and visitors assigned made it easier to find parking. The good location, and the artistic vibe of the environment, which was somewhat aligned with our work, made it more enjoyable.

All work

Method

The KAY Framework.

Every engagement runs the same five steps in the same order — the reason a diagnosis, a position and a launch end up as one piece of work rather than three invoices.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

Understand the real challenge, the market context and the hidden friction. Most briefs describe a symptom.

  2. 02

    Position

Define the point of view, the offer and the message that should lead the conversation. Positioning is the art of strategic sacrifice.

  3. 03

    Design

Build the brand, the experience or the system around a clear strategic direction — never around a template.

  4. 04

    Deploy

Execute with quality, pace and operational discipline. This is the step most strategy work never reaches.

  5. 05

    Grow

Learn, optimise and expand what works. Measurement is not a report at the end; it is how the next decision gets made.
